Trent Glass has supplied a bespoke toughened-glass shower door and matching shaped side panel for a bathroom with a sloping ceiling. Made to special dimensions, the glazing follows the available space and brings a clear glass enclosure to an opening that calls for a made-to-measure solution.
Shaped to fit the room
The angled upper edges accommodate the roof slope, while the narrow fixed side panel completes the enclosure alongside the hinged door. This project shows how custom glass shapes can suit bathrooms where standard rectangular shower doors are difficult to accommodate.
Custom cutting and hinge details
The supplied toughened glass incorporates specially shaped edges and hinge cut-outs to suit the door design. The close-up below shows the cut-out detail, including its rounded internal corners.
