One-Way Observation Mirror Glass

One-Way Observation Mirror Glass

Half-silvered observation glass — mirror on the bright side, transparent from the dim side. For police interview rooms, retail security, broadcast studios and discreet observation environments.

Trent Glass One-Way Observation Mirror Glass is a partially-reflective coated glass that appears as a mirror from the bright side and as transparent glass from the dim side. The effect depends on a lighting differential between the two spaces — typically a ratio of 10:1 or higher. Supplied as toughened safety glass or laminated for noise-rated walls.

Key Features

  • Half-silvered metallic coating on the observation face — typically 50%/50% reflectance/transmittance
  • Effect depends on lighting differential (observer side dim, subject side brightly lit)
  • Available toughened to BS EN 12150 or laminated to BS EN 14449
  • Acoustic isolation laminate option (Rw up to 38 dB) for confidential interviews
  • Anti-fingerprint anti-tarnish coating on the mirrored surface
  • Custom cut to your aperture; framed or frameless
