Fire-rated glass from Trent Glass is safety glazing tested and certified to withstand fire for specified durations — from 30 minutes to 120 minutes — under BS EN 1364-1 and BS 476 Parts 20–22. Available as integrity-only (E-class), integrity plus radiation control (EW), and integrity plus thermal insulation (EI-class) systems.
Each fire-rated pane is supplied with certified framing systems (steel or timber) matched to the same test evidence, ensuring building control sign-off. Options include intumescent-interlayer laminated glass, ceramic glass, and wired safety glass.
