Curved Glass

Curved Glass

Bespoke curved glass — fired and slumped to any radius for facades, balustrades, staircase enclosures, cylindrical lifts, shopfronts and feature interiors. Toughened to BS EN 12150 or laminated to BS EN 14449, CE / UKCA marked.

Trent Glass Curved Glass is precision-bent toughened or laminated glass, manufactured to project-specific radii for facades, balustrades, staircases, cylindrical lifts, shop fronts and feature interiors. Each panel is custom-shaped — supply us with a CAD drawing, sketch or measured template and we’ll match curvature, height, width and edge condition exactly.

We handle curved glass as a routine specification: tight-radius bends, large-format panels, double-glazed curved units, balustrade-grade laminates and BS-certified safety glass. Tight tolerances on radius, edge condition and certification — all confirmed at quote against your drawings.

Key Features

Custom Radius and Geometry

Cylindrical, conical and partial-spherical curves available. Minimum radius depends on glass thickness and construction — quote on drawings.

Toughened or Laminated Construction

Heat-soaked toughened for impact resistance, or laminated with structural interlayer for fall-protection (Class A / B per BS 6206). Both options retain optical clarity through the curve.

Large-Format Capability

Single-panel curved glass up to architectural facade scale, including double-glazed curved IGUs for thermal envelopes.

Safety-Rated

Toughened to BS EN 12150; laminated to BS EN 14449. CE / UKCA marking documented on delivery.

Edge and Finish Options

Polished, ground, mitred or pencil-edged. Clear, low-iron, tinted, frosted, ceramic-printed or coloured back-painted.
