Who We Are
Trent Glass is a specialist glazing supplier within the Leaworks Group, set up to solve a problem we kept running into on our own projects. Through years of development and construction work across the group, we ran into the same issues again and again with the UK commercial glazing market: a shortage of capable suppliers, painfully slow quotation turnaround, high prices, and — more often than anyone would like to admit — simply no response at all.
These bottlenecks held our developments up repeatedly, and at some point it became clear that the most reliable fix was to build the capability ourselves. We systematically integrated local fabricators with a network of overseas suppliers, bringing high-quality glass products into the UK and putting them through the relevant certification process (BS, CE, UKCA). Where a product doesn’t yet meet UK building regulations, we go a step further — working directly with overseas factories on the design itself, so the glass is engineered from the outset to comply.
Having built this supply capability for internal use, we now extend it to external clients — with a particular focus on the technically demanding work other UK suppliers won’t take on at the small-to-mid project scale.
Beyond the Standard Catalogue
Most UK glazing suppliers stay within a narrow product set — and the technically demanding jobs tend to get reserved for the largest developers. Trent Glass takes a different approach: curved glass, custom-shape cutting, domed and cupola glazing, fire-rated panels, integrated glass-and-metal assemblies, vacuum-insulated glass, and staircase glass.
These are the sort of jobs we are set up to deliver — and we deliver them to small and mid-sized architects, builders, and developers as readily as to large ones. It is a segment of the UK market that almost no one else is currently serving with this depth of capability.

Why Choose Trent Glass
Pricing is the easy part of our offer. Because we deal directly with origin factories and cut out the middle layers, our quotes are highly competitive within the UK — but it isn’t what keeps clients with us.
What does is this: when a design is slightly out of the ordinary, we don’t default to “can’t be done.” We start from your design intent and look across our global supply chain to find a path that genuinely works. Curved, domed, fire-rated, vacuum, glass-and-metal, staircase — if a UK fabricator won’t quote it, that’s usually where the conversation with us begins.
Two practical caveats. Most products ship from overseas, so delivery cycles are longer than a UK stockist’s — bring us in early during project planning and timing stops being an issue. And imported glass brings UK compliance and certification into play, which is often the real hurdle; we handle it on your behalf.
Our job is to make complex glass actually happen for projects that aren’t blue-chip in scale — not to explain why it can’t.
